Observing

We are all mimics. It’s fun to see. See what people do; see what animals do. You must see things, before you can see things change, and a change can tell you what’s behind a mask. Different secrets, for different situations, different animals, different people. Everyone is different, different in certain ways. Each animal has its limits and shows how it feels, some to ward you off, some to welcome you in. Each animal holds its cards and waits for your next play. A shift in the wind? A shift of balance. The color of the sky? A tensed muscle. What does it want? What will it tolerate? Will you have fun with it, or will it make fun of you?
