Klamath

We paddle our canoes out together into the great marshlands of Upper Klamath Lake, Pelican Bay, Agency Lake, and the lower Williamson River to find plenty of lily seeds, fish, and fowl. We work hard and the Creator favors us. We are given everything we need. We save supplies in the easy times, and portion them out in the hard times. In the Spring we set out watchers for the return of the c’waam, the great Lost River sucker. When they enter the mouth of Sprague River, it’s a time of dancing, drumming, and feasting.
