A Sonnet

She likes the one about love which alters not when it alteration finds; she needs to deny uncertainty essentially, her own, once her mother’s, now mine, and finds it difficult to trust, for, once trustful, she is ever fearful of tragic rejection. And as for mine, I love her like the memory of how I loved her yesterday slowly faded suddenly renewed. Say hello, call her name.
