3: Aristocracy

I aspire to the privileges of wealth and virtue, including the right to tell you what to do. Who better to do so than this ideal and future me? I would share this responsibility with only a few, equally worthy, peers in our superiority. We could let you join only if you would agree to do as we say, at least until you fully understand the way we want things done around here, and you were accepted among us. I, too, intend to pay this price for the privilege of making others pay and having my descendents share the wealth of others’ efforts.
