We should begin today, this year, to act as though we knew extraterrestrials were soon arriving. We should put as much energy into helping each other as we put into defending and fighting. We should be collaborating on a common response to either solace or menace. We should recognize that our own survival is at risk before it’s too late. We should being to act as though our world were worth saving.
