Almost all spiders are predatory and eat no solid food. They inject digestive enzymes into their prey, then suck the juices out. Very few will bite a human being but watch out for those that will. The real danger from spiders is not loss of blood but that a few spiders— black widows, brown recluses, and hobo spiders inject toxins that can kill.
