Sailboat living

• Instead of renting
• an apartment
• we live in the marina
• and pay marina fees
• and what it takes
• to maintain this old boat.
• We do laundry and take showers
• in the common buildings,
• and I keep geraniums in pots.
• Except for being cramped,
• we’re comfortable enough.
• If times get tough,
• we can sell the car
• and sail to Jamaica.
