Algal bloom shrimp

These shrimp are programmed to feed only where algae blooms to a pre-hazardous density. They eat algae, sequester its phosphorus and nitrogen, create diatomic nitrogen that gases off to dissipate harmlessly in the atmosphere, and excrete the phosphorus combined with algal cellulose as tiny floating pellets. These shrimp have unique organelles that process algae but are as harmless and nutritious as natural shrimp. We provide live bloom shrimp eggs that you can use to salt your pond or open water. Ask for our brine bloom shrimp eggs to prevent algal blooms in saltwater.
