We drank all night before I left and I walked along the river instead of sleeping. Some officials never deserve their positions and some with genius are never rewarded. As my boat left I grew sad. Fame is cruel and chance arbitrary. The dawn light lay on the water like petals and the swallows, singing, accompanied my departure.
