江畔独步寻花 by 杜甫

其一江上被花恼不彻，无处告诉只颠狂。走觅南邻爱酒伴，经旬出饮独空床。其二稠花乱蕊畏江滨，行步欹危实怕春。诗酒尚堪驱使在，未须料理白头人。其三江深竹静两三家，多事红花映白花。报答春光知有处，应须美酒送生涯。其四东望少城花满烟，百花高楼更可怜。谁能载酒开金盏，唤取佳人舞绣筵。其五黄师塔前江水东，春光懒困倚微风。桃花一簇开无主，可爱深红爱浅红？其六黄四娘家花满蹊，千朵万朵压枝低。留连戏蝶时时舞，自在娇莺恰恰啼。其七不是爱花即肯死，只恐花尽老相催。繁枝容易纷纷落，嫩蕊商量细细开。

Walking Alone by the River in Search of Flowers (literal translation of Du Fu’s poem)

I went to find my southern neighbor who loves drinking with me, and I went out to drink alone in an empty bed after ten days. Second I am afraid of the riverside with dense flowers and chaotic stamens, and I am afraid of spring when I walk. Poetry and wine can still be driven, and there is no need to take care of the old man. Third Two or three bamboos are quiet in the deep river, and the red flowers reflect the white flowers. I know where to repay the spring, and I should have good wine to send off my life. Fourth Looking east to Shaocheng, the flowers are full of smoke, and the high buildings with hundreds of flowers are even more pitiful. Who can bring wine and open the golden cup, and call the beauty to dance on the embroidered banquet. Fifth In front of Huang Shi’s tower, the river flows east, and the spring is lazy and sleepy and relies on the breeze. A cluster of peach blossoms bloom without an owner, do you like deep red or light red? Sixth The path of Huang Si Niang’s house is full of flowers, and thousands of flowers weigh down the branches. The lingering butterflies dance from time to time, and the free and graceful orioles sing.
