The lone goose doesn’t eat or drink. Lost, it flies and cries out for its flock. It’s only a piece of a shadow of a cloud that no one notices has been missing. The goose imagines it hears its flock and flies to greet gray shadows. Everywhere, we hear birds calling, but nowhere can we hear the calls of family.
孤雁不饮啄,飞鸣声念群。 谁联一片影,相失万重云。 望尽似犹见,哀多如更闻。 野鸭无意绪,鸣噪亦纷纷。
