Even the best friends can be distant; sun and moon rarely share the same sky. When you retired, you had been single; now you’re married and have children. We’re too old to waste our evenings. We have a lot to catch up on. You send your children to fetch wine and we talk all night, drinking freely. Tomorrow mountains will separate us and the world will be in the same mess.
