Hobbling with a cane back home in the dark I was sure that a tiger passed behind me. The cottages along the path were dark. Everyone else was quiet or missing. The Big Dipper was falling into the river and a monkey cried loudly ahead. When I got home, I lit two candles. Who even noticed me dancing and singing?
