Reminiscence of Historic Sites (IV) (literal translation of Du Fu’s poem)

The ruler of Shu spied on Wu and went to the Three Gorges. He died in the Yong’an Palace. The green flag is imagined in the empty mountains, and the jade palace is in the wild temple. The old temple is built with pine trees and water cranes nest. In the New Year, the old man walks around the village. The Wuhou Temple is always nearby, and the ruler and his subjects worship together.
