Minaz felt he was not a citizen of any country. He spoke many languages as needed, but he preferred his native language, Fiuman. He had an address in Rijeka, a.k.a. Fiume, but he lived mainly on the Kvarner Gulf or on the Adriatic. Minaz owned a small fishing boat that slept four and often stayed out a week or more even without a client. He simply liked reading world literature and listening to shortwave broadcasts.
