Simo was a test driver for the Yugos and Fiats that rolled off the assembly line. He knew all the moving parts and what they sounded like when something wasn’t right. Those cars had a reputation as the worst cars in history, but it wasn’t his fault. Some things couldn’t be fixed, like the paint and the suspension. He sent back each car with a list of things to fix. After that, it was out of his hands.
