Separating the chaff

When a good idea clicks, it doesn’t make a sound. It happens in a flash without a bit of light. A genius grabs it quickly, but doesn’t obsess over it. Out of a hundred crazy notions one pearl may be found. If it’s good, like a lens, it will help you see clearly. It will speak; it will shine, but not enough to blind. A hundred mixed metaphors will not diminish it.
