Predator nature

Is there in humans, as in other predators, an innate instinct for hunting and killing other animals? Do other animals kill by choice, because it’s fun, or for other reasons that we avoid assuming because we don’t want to anthropomorphize other species? Is it our culture, our upbringing, that makes us want to eat meat, or do we consider a cultural history in which our people were healthier because they ate meat?
