Prey

What differentiates animals that we think are OK to hunt, from animals that we think are not OK to hunt? We kill rats because they cause damage and carry diseases, and we do not eat them. We do not eat our pets or parasites. We eat crickets, not cockroaches. What about scavengers? We eat lobsters, but not vultures. Our choice of prey is driven by personal and cultural values and prejudices.
