Nothing had yet to be done he had only to wait He was enjoying this Now he was passing over the Golden Gate now he looked north over the bay Sailboats arrested the afternoon breeze while he gazed forward to the blue mountains Now life was no longer meaningless The sailboats mentioned truth to him but the boats are only symbols Nothing had yet to be done he had only to wait
