Doing Something About It

If the paper were to jam in the printer If the chair were to sag from a broken support If I were to grow tired of cooking the same food It’s a psychological symptom Whose condition is a set of needs That depend on who I am and what it is Not getting mad at the printer for jamming Not concerned with who broke the chair Unwilling to put myself in that position I get mad again when John tries to prove That it’s your need to succeed Instead of his need to fail that he’s a victim If I were to feel superior only because of his idiocy I probably wouldn’t have enough sense To know what to do and do something about it
