A Place

Story ring design: Lightning, bear claw, sun, moon, star, forest, rain, wind

A new station plays jazz I haven’t heard before exact in its purpose neither happy nor sad but beautiful like walking through columns of a temple surrounded by darkness like obsidian that catches light like city streets when it rains at night. Gretchen is asleep. I turn the dial across the stations neither happy nor sad but curious about each note that vibrates next to me warm and breathing true to its needs surrounded by darkness like love that catches light from appropriate horns and strings.
