The milder versions of this disorder cause no harm, but loving cats can become pathological. One loses perspective like someone hoarding newspapers until they block the windows and one’s cats fill the rooms. Accumulating cats is worse than hoarding newspapers because newspapers don’t breed or cough up fur-balls.
