Circuses don’t keep animals any more except for horses and dogs that perform tricks. Bear-baiting isn’t a thing these days as it was in Britain before the nineteenth century. Foie gras is banned in some parts of the world although in France farmers say that their geese overeat willingly. In Denmark, millions of mink are farmed for their fur. Lord knows what they do with their corpses after skinning them.
