Considerable overhead is involved in horseback riding. Grooms, farriers, trainers, veterinarians, stables, yards, and trails. The cost of a horse is dwarfed by the cost of maintaining that horse in good health. Caring for and riding horses is more dangerous than riding motorcycles.
