Venus Anadyomene

She rises from the suds and wrings water from her hair. She acts as though her body were featured in a museum or maybe in a burlesque show. She has curves, more than double. She has moves, known to seduce. She used to model, so she knows how to pose. She once was famous; now she reminds us of the type. She’s a milky bar of tallow soap floating in a scallop shell at the edge of a tub.
