Church of Ghosts

The preponderance of observations shows that ghosts not only exist but transcend cultures and times. It’s not a matter of belief except, perhaps, for belief in the Holy Ghost. The founder of this church, Silas Branch, began by gathering ghost stories in scriptures and literature. Then he summarized the values and effects on people shown by these stories. Then he separated true reports from fictions intended to frighten people. Silas says that ghosts are an important medium that God uses make us aware. He teaches that seances are vain attempts to manipulate a sacred phenomenon. Whether there’s an afterlife is less important than what God is trying to teach us in this life.
