The Isaacists believe that Isaac Asimov was inspired by God when writing his Foundation trilogy. Asimov thought he was writing fiction, but they believe, although he didn’t realize this, it was all true. For this reason, the Isaacists regard Asimov as a prophet and the Foundation trilogy as their Bible. Services are devoted to reading the work aloud with any discussion meant to help anyone new to the work. An Isaacist congregation reads the three books in order, taking turns, and when they finish, start over from the beginning.
