Holy Gathering of the Seventy Elohim

Ancient Semitic traditions asserted that God had seventy sons, not just one. And that God gave each son a nation and required each son to make a covenant with its people to protect and serve them. The Holy Gathering of the Seventy Elohim in Kankakee, Kankakee County, Illinois, is the only known congregation in the United States whose worship revolves around the existence of the seventy covenants. Their church building, instead of featuring crosses, features wings. A hundred and forty sky-blue wings sprout from the church tower. “On a spring day,” said Pastor Randy, “depending where you stand, the wings blend into the sky.” This, he said, “symbolizes the spirits of the seventy sons flying over us to protect and serve all people.”
