Computerized intelligent assistants present a problem to parents of children who delegate their social interactions so they can spend more time playing online games. Are they failing to develop social skills they’ll need later in life, or are they learning from masters who can take advantage of each other’s successes? Many parents obviously prefer to pay for their child’s service than to show that their own social skills are out of date.
