When Dan Quayle said, in 1989, “What a waste it is to lose one’s mind,” as if he knew this from personal experience, was this a Freudian slip? Quayle also said it’s “time for the human race to enter the solar system,” as if our planet were somewhere else. Obviously, when aliens first attempted mind control, they could do nothing about minds that couldn’t be trained or they hadn’t fully perfected their technique.
