Chinese immortals

Chung-Li Ch’uan revived the souls of the dead, Chang Kuo-lao, grew a new set of teeth, Lu Tung-pin flew through the air like a bird, Li T’ieh-kuai borrowed the body of a beggar, Ho Hsien-ku transformed into a fairy, Hon Hsiun-tzu commanded flowers to grow and bloom, Lan Ts’ai-ho carried a basket of supernatural peaches, and Ts’ao Kuo-chiu, engaged in studying the way, were said to have been immortal. Tell me, were these just myths instead of living human beings, who, as we know, are not immortal, or were these androids and gynoids, replaceable replicants, visiting shapeshifters, or aliens in clever disguises?
