About this book
I originally published this book in Palo Alto on 10 September 1985. I had read the poems in this collection with Bill Vartnaw in the Russian River Monday Night Poetry and Prose Reading Series at the Burbank Activities Center in Sebastopol, California, on 5 August 1985.
The illustrations, including the front and back covers, are reproductions that I made using MacPaint of pieces of paper with printed messages that I had collected, now separated from the products that they were made for.
