About this book

Saint Caṇḍa Ānanda is based on the lives of Sant Kabir, Adi Shankara, and other good men. This book isn’t a parody. Caṇḍa Ānanda is as much of a saint as Kabir, Francis of Assisi, or Thomas the disciple of Jesus. This is happening with Caṇḍa Ānanda, even though he needn’t be canonized by the pope; his purpose has always been to lead people to wisdom.

On the cover is Caṇḍa Ānanda’s name in Devanagari script. In Sanskrit, his name means “moon happiness” or “moon bliss.” The favicon is the Sanskrit word for “Om” in Devanagari script.
