Nonduality

Caṇḍa Ānanda said, “Human beings think they’re better than animals and have no respect for plants. I’m a farmer, so I know my goat is as smart, in its own way, as I am, and my squash vines know what they need better than many farmers. We are all— sentient and non-sentient— manifestations of the same god. In that respect, there’s no difference between a leaf and my hand, or between my head and a pumpkin.” Caṇḍa Ānanda also said, “On the other hand, many things seem to come in threes.”
