Rearrangements

Caṇḍa Ānanda’s teachings speaks of rearrangements of elements. The beansprout, rising from the earth, is a rearrangement of a bean. A bean is a rearrangement of elements by its mother vine— along with earth, water, and light. The progression of rearrangements is responsible for all life. Each person is a unique rearrangement; everyone is different. Considering this, Caṇḍa Ānanda’s teachings turn to the gods. The gods guide all rearrangements and they themselves are rearrangements. Each incarnation of a god, an avatar, is a rearrangement of a selection of powers, essences, and qualities. This is why we have at least as many gods as varieties of beans.
