Suffering

Caṇḍa Ānanda said, “If earthly life were the definition of suffering, most people wouldn’t do it. There’d be little reason to bring children into it.” Caṇḍa Ānanda also said, “It’s no fun to be sick, or have people you love die, but for most people joy outweighs sorrow.”
