Worries

People who say childhood is a time of happiness and innocence are only fooling themselves. They dislike their own responsibilities and remember a time when it wasn’t always so hard. But they have forgotten that children worry, too. Children worry because they aren’t in control. They think that playing isn’t serious work. It’s a practice of exercising control. It’s an exercise in destruction and seeing it’s not permanent.
