A choice

Let’s say I have chosen not to eat pork. You could say I can’t or couldn’t eat it. Now, is my choice truly voluntary? I could be under the influence of others, so they, not I, have made this choice. Actually, after years of abstinence, I find the thought of pork distasteful, so it’s less a choice than an abhorrence. It’s like the question of free will. Am I free to eat it when I’ve decided not to?
