Ladislaus estate

The family mansion boasted of large rooms for entertainment, a large kitchen and dining room, sitting room, smoking room, the library, and twenty-four bedrooms. In addition, the estate had homes for the house and grounds staffs, and cottages for special guests, plus barns, storage rooms, ice house, and various additional buildings such as the boat house on the riverbank. Max delegated most of the work to a professional estate manager. It was useless to have means if you didn’t have the time. Managing the estate was more than a full-time job. Over time, Max relied more and more on the estate running itself.
