Growing interest

Over the years, Max collected books and scholarly journals on comparative anatomy, anthropology, and especially osteology, and he read them all. He had a good mind for the subject and he loved to share what he knew. When he had guests for dinner, he learned that few other people shared his enthusiasm for bones.
