His professors

In addition to Professor Pierre de Serres, three other professors taught regularly at the Ladislaus estate— Professor Zdeněk Rzehak, Professor Albert Walter Mischa Wellnhofer, and Madame Professor Ursula Bettina Korwin-Mikke. He asked them many questions after their classes and in the hall. They had mutually beneficial discussions. Naturally, considering their positions, they never cut Max short, and they were charmed by his intellectual curiosity. In age, these were Emperor Max’s peers, in training, his superiors, but Max related to them (as if he were still a young student) as his private tutors.
