This is the month in which the third, fourth, and first Sikh gurus didn’t really die. Ram Das became the fourth guru; Arjan Dev became the fifth; and Angad Dev became the second. Hindus honor their ancestors, celebrate the goddess Durga and her victory over Mihishasura.
