ভাদ্র (Bhadro)

The fifth month of the Bengali calendar is the the first of two months of autumn. It’s named after the star পূর্বভাদ্রপদ (Purbôbhadrôpôd) meaning “the early blessed one.” It corresponds to Bhādrapada in the Nepali calendar.
