অগ্রহায়ণ (Ôgrohayon)

The eighth month of the Bengali calendar is the second and last month of the dry season. It corresponds to Agrahāyaṇa in the Nepali calendar. The Nepalese name is derived from the position of the moon near the star Mrigashīrsha on the full moon day. That star’s name means “the deer’s head.”
