Cat ladies

One suburb of Baltimore boasts of the largest percentage of cat ladies in the northern hemisphere. The Cat Fanciers’ Association of Maryland holds an annual cat show, and a high percentage of attendees are widows over the age of 68. Moreover, this class of cat owners takes home about 93% of the awards each year. Mrs. Felicity Love, who volunteers for the annual event, explains the reason the cat ladies take home most of the ribbons and trophies is because those women have taught themselves cat language. They meet in each others’ homes and work on their skills. They can not only talk to their cats, but they understand the many subtle ways that their cats talk back to them. They have regular conversations with their cats and they listen when their cats say what they want.
