The owner of a cabin near Lolo Creek, east of Flathead Lake, Montana, reported an unusual intruder. He unlocked his front door, entered, and the air in the room didn’t smell right. It was broad daylight, so he could see that nobody was inside, at first. He heard the bedroom window creaking and cautiously went toward the bedroom door. That’s when he heard a voice, “I’d stay out there, if I were you.” He froze, but then he heard the window creak again, so he looked into the room to see a furry back of an animal, like a raccoon, jump out of the window.
