Open graves of Hopkinsville

In Hopkinsville, Kentucky, young people have many times claimed, while walking at night across an empty lot or through a field, that they almost stepped into an open grave. They say a flashlight never shows a coffin, but the hole is always the proper size and depth for a burial. Adults who return with the child the next morning never find evidence of any hole or grave.
