In England, cats learn English. In France, they learn French. They don’t talk to us because they don’t have the vocal apparatus to make our sounds. Then there’s the personality issue. Naturally superior to us, they refuse to fawn or do tricks. They let us think we’ve domesticated them but we really haven’t. They are always thinking how they can improve our training.
