Everyone knows of a reclusive neighbor, or has driven by a house where the grass is tall and the bushes have grown up higher than the windows. Neighborhood kids try to get a look at the recluse, but the house has motion-activated lights, so they run off. Thick curtains, anyway, hide views of the interior. If they knock at a front door, nobody answers. Deliveries are left on the porch and are never seen being retrieved. Some have seen a black van with tinted windows pull out of or go into the garage. If deliveries pile up on the porch, is the recluse on a trip, or has the neighbor died? The question always is what are they trying to hide? Is it a shocking deformity? Is it a witch or warlock? Is the recluse not human? Is it an array of computers that are linked to global banks or the Interpol computer network? Is it any threat to the kids?
